Loving solidgps, I gave one to my daughter for her van and I have one in my motorhome. It is great to be able to join my daughter and have a virtual holiday whilst the motorhome is off the road or even go straight to the destination when we choose to meet up. Great for tracking a caravan, and great service! Works really well for tracking a caravan. I got 5 months' battery life out of the 3 month product. There are a few quirks with the interface, and Emergency Mode should track its location more than 2 minutes apart, but their support has been excellent and overall I think the product worked as advertised! So good I bought a second Solid GPS device! I bought a Solid GPS device a few years ago for my caravan which is kept in storage. Using the app I am always able to quickly check the location and battery status of the device. It's been so reliable and easy to track via the app I bought a second device for the tow vehicle. Both devices are well hidden within the vehicles but still maintain a strong GPS signal. The purchase process was really easy and I opted for the longer life battery capacity in both cases so I don't need to worry about recharging for 5-6 months. Better to rely on Solid GPS than manufacturer’s tracking app I have been using a Solid GPS in my caravan for over 2 years. It really works well. Recently I bought a second one for my car. While my car has factory tracking through an app the experience of a friend made me rethink relying on the car manufacturer’s app. My friend had his car, similar to mine, stolen. The thieves broke into his house, took the cat keys and stole the car keys My friend heard the thieves and saw the car droning off down the road. He immediately went to his car manufacturer’s app to track the car. He was able to do this for a short time until the thieves got into the car’s settings and turned the tracking off. After my friend’s experience I decided to get another Solid GPS tracker for the car because I don’t want to rely on the manufacturer’s app which can be so easily disabled.

An excellent Tracker I needed a tracker to provide peace of mind that if my car or caravan were stolen, I would be able to have them tracked. Definitely best value for money After research the market pretty thoroughly, I'm relieved to say that Solid GPS delivered on what they said. The tracking website looks a little dated but it works. They don't have an option to charge off 12V caravan batteries natively yet (hint) so I'd recommend the 6 month battery option for caravans for less battery charge worry.
