In my career racing all around Australia and internationally I have seen a lot, unfortunately that includes theft, and lots of it. A very easy device to use A very easy device to use. The app is very easy to understand and use. We are travelling around Australia and about to leave our van for a little side trip. A bike leaves the tracker far more exposed to rain, road spray and hosing down than a car does, and the pouch seals it against water and dust. Even in the pouch, a spot sheltered from direct spray is the safer choice.
Yes, if you pick the right model. The Standard and Large trackers are 85 x 50 x 22 mm, about the size of a credit card, and the MEGA is 85 x 55 x 35 mm, so a Standard or Large often fits where a MEGA won't.
The trade-off is battery: up to 3 or 6 months per charge instead of 12. It needs no wiring or line of sight, but metal on every side blocks the signal. We keep spots general on purpose: a list would help thieves as much as riders.
