I can see where it is any time I want and the geofencing provides me with a great sense of security knowing that I will be notified if it is moved from its current site. Should it be stolen I am totally confident the Police or I will be able to track and recover it immediately. Excellent product, great value for money, and fast delivery.

We're heading off on our first big trip shortly and having the tracker in the caravan has given us the confidence to include more free camps in our trip.

Ben B28 August 2026This is a great product that is completely independent of the item that you wish to track. I didn't want to modify our car to suit the tracker, I just wanted one to hide and only pull it out to charge. This product delivers in the fact of its long battery life and a great app to monitor it from and incredible accuracy with its location. I do recommend.

Rcm27 August 2026Excellent product at an amazing and reasonable price! Only feedback is if the app was more native to iOS (mapkit for rendering, Liquid Glass UI) as opposed to a web wrapper of sorts. Develops seem very responded to this and I’m hoping it gets implemented soon!

Taina C26 August 2026I started using Solid GPS a long time ago (possibly as long as 5 or 6 years ago or even a little longer than that). I was looking for a product and thought GPS Solid would suit my needs. Ordering, installing and following their clear instructions was dead easy. Getting used to the app took a little longer, but was also easy after a while. I was so comfortable with the product that I ordered a one for my second car. The integration of the second vehicle was seamless. The most important thing about this company though, is the service you receive from the team. Every time something has been unclear or if I have had issues with the tracker, it has taken one email to the team and a response within a day from them. Sometimes it has taken a few emails to figure out what the problem was, but it has been resolved every time. I am grateful for the after purchase support, patience and kindness the team has provided to a non technically minded person. If I can work with the app and the product, then anyone can. Hammer23 August 2026I have used Solid GPS for years in my caravans and it has given me a real piece of mind knowing that if ever it was stolen I could get it back because insurance does not necessarily pay out enough to replace the van like for like. An added feature is an odometer on your Dashboard so you know how far the vehicle or caravan has travelled. Great for planning servicing on a caravan. I recently purchased another Solid GPS and again it works perfectly. I looked at a number of options to Solid GPS but they were not up to what I required. I thoroughly recommend Solid GPS to anyone who wants to keep track of their car, caravan or motorcycle, anything for that matter. Any questions are quickly answered online which is a bonus and great service. 10/10.

Can I have my tracker permanently plugged into the USB?
Yes, you can keep your Solid GPS permanently powered by plugging it into a USB port in your vehicle. It will stay charged while connected, so you’ll never need to remove it for recharging.
How Long Does The Battery Last, And Will I Need To Replace Or Recharge It?
No replacement needed — the battery is fully rechargeable.
You’ll get an automatic alert to your phone and email when it hits 30%, so there’s plenty of time to recharge.
Since it only needs recharging every 3, 6, or 12 months (depending on your model), it’ll last for years.
How Long Does It Take To Recharge The Battery?
We recommend recharging your Solid GPS tracker overnight. It usually takes around 12 hours to fully charge, and you can top it up anytime for peace of mind.
My Caravan/RV Sits Parked For Weeks. Will The Tracker Still Work?
Yes. The tracker sleeps when your caravan/Rv isn’t moving, using almost no battery. It wakes up when it detects movement and checks in every 24 hours as a precaution.

Can I Manage Multiple Trackers Under One Account?
Yes, you can add as .many trackers as you like to one Solid GPS account. It’s simple to manage and monitor them all in one place.
To keep things organized, you can assign each tracker a custom name and colour.
Just head to the account settings in the Solid GPS app or website to manage them anytime.
Can More Than One Person Access The Same Tracker?
Yes, you can share access to your tracker with others through your Solid GPS account.
Each person you share with can log in from their own device and see the same live location and movement history.
This makes it ideal for families, teams, or shared vehicles where multiple people need visibility.
Does The Tracker Use My Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Or Phone?
No. Solid GPS doesn’t rely on your Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or phone.
It uses GPS satellites to pinpoint its location and a built-in SIM card to send that data directly to your Solid GPS app, completely independent of your devices.

What Network Does It Use, And How Far Can It Track From My Device?
Solid GPS connects to major 4G networks like Telstra and Vodafone in Australia, Spark and Vodafone in New Zealand, and T-Mobile and AT&T in the USA.
It automatically uses whichever has the strongest signal and doesn’t rely on Bluetooth, so it can track almost anywhere within mobile coverage.
If the tracker loses coverage, it stores your route and uploads it once signal returns.
How does Solid GPS work? what are its features?
Solid GPS locates your vehicle using satellites and sends updates to your app through secure 4G networks.
The tracker updates every 2 minutes while moving. Over long trips it may extend up to 10 minute updates to save battery, and you can reset it to 2 minute intervals at any time.
When the vehicle is parked it checks in once every 24 hours, then instantly switches back to active tracking when movement begins.
You receive instant alerts if your vehicle moves unexpectedly or leaves a set area.
The tracker includes a long lasting rechargeable battery, a built in SIM with coverage included, and full access to the Solid GPS app for tracking, history, and battery information.
