Do I need my own SIM card or Wi-Fi?
No. Solid OBD comes with its own built-in SIM, so there's nothing to set up. It connects to Telstra and Vodafone and automatically picks whichever has the best signal.
It works on its own, without your phone, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Can I return it?
Yes. If it's not right for you, just send it back within 31 days and we'll give you a full refund.
There are no contracts either, so you can cancel anytime at no cost.
Can my team see it too?
Yes. Send your team a secure link and they can see where every vehicle is, live, from any phone or computer. They can't change any of your settings.
Or share your login with anyone who needs full access. You can add as many vehicles as you like to one account.
Does it need charging?
No. Solid OBD runs on your car's power, so you never need to charge it.
It plugs straight into the OBD port under the steering wheel, which most vehicles made after 2006 have. No tools needed.
If you'd rather keep it out of sight, the optional wiring harness connects it directly to the car battery instead.
