The 2025 figures come from vehicle theft data published by WA Police. We used the latest available numbers to compare police districts and identify where the most cars were stolen during the year.

Kimberley recorded the highest total in 2025, with 508 stolen cars. Mandurah followed with 483, while Cannington recorded 470.
There was also some good news. Vehicle theft fell in several districts that had previously ranked among the state’s worst. Cannington dropped from 742 thefts in 2023 to 470 in 2025, while Mandurah and Fremantle also recorded lower totals.
1. Kimberley: 508 cars stolen

Mid West-Gascoyne rounds out the list with 271 stolen vehicles.
